A long-term vision to coordinate event operations and shared infrastructure across three major venues, laying the foundation for a world-class Sydney motorsport precinct.

In conjunction with the NSW Office of Sport, the Western Sydney Parklands Trust initiated a comprehensive master planning process for Precinct 5 (Eastern Creek Motor Sports) within Western Sydney Parklands. e8urban led the development of a unified vision and indicative master plan for the expansive 575-hectare site, designed to establish a strategic 50-year framework that elevates the precinct into an internationally recognised motorsport destination.

The primary objective of the study was to align operations and physical connections across three major venues: the new Western Sydney International Speedway, the existing Western Sydney International Dragway, and Sydney Motorsport Park. By identifying key opportunities to consolidate and share access networks, spectator infrastructure, and operational logistics, the master plan creates a cohesive destination rather than a collection of isolated venues.

Beyond race-day functionality, the framework explores how the precinct can accommodate large-scale major events while improving environmental performance and public domain integration. The plan establishes a clear, staged strategy to guide long-term capital investment, enhance spectator access, and foster commercial synergies between sports, entertainment, and public space. The resulting vision provides a durable, future-proof roadmap that secures the site's role as Australia's premier motor racing hub while integrating thoughtfully into the broader regional parklands network.
