Tackling the escalating Urban Heat Island Effect, this Design Lab study asserts our fundamental duty as designers to treat green infrastructure as a non-negotiable, formative baseline for future cities. 

The sequence opens on a sweltering riverside skyline swathed in warning-level reds, oranges, and yellows. Anchored by the rallying cry 'make space for nature', a foreground boat sets a continuous lateral track along the river corridor. As the scene moves, nature-based interventions dynamically hijack the urban fabric—spanning high-rise living facades, lush green roofs, dense street canopies, pocket parks, re-wilded riverbanks, and floating bio-islands. By the end of the run, the fiery palette cools into tranquil blues and emerald greens, sealing the city’s transformation into a cooler, cleaner, and healthier realm.
